Research on mobile
Ask legal questions, read cited answers, and continue research threads from your phone
The Research screen is the starting point for every session. It opens to a composer and your recent research threads, so you can jump back into an ongoing question or start a new one in seconds.
Modes#
Tap the mode selector above the composer to choose how the AI approaches your question.
Research
Searches live legal databases and returns a cited answer with ranked authorities.
Draft
Produces a first-draft clause, letter, or memo based on your instruction and the current jurisdiction.
Analyse
Reads a document or fact pattern and surfaces issues, risks, and relevant law.
Jurisdiction and depth filters#
Two badge filters sit below the mode selector:
- Jurisdiction — tap to switch between Indian, Canadian, or other legal systems. This routes the query to the matching sources and citation format.
- Depth — tap Deep to increase reasoning effort for complex questions. Leave it off for quick orientation queries.
Submitting a question#
Type your question in the composer. The composer expands as you type. Tap Send to submit.
The response screen shows:
- A live streaming answer from the AI
- A Grounded badge when citations have been verified against known authorities
- Numbered citations listed below the response
- A follow-up composer at the bottom to continue the thread
Recent research#
Below the composer, the Research screen lists your most recent threads. Each entry shows:
- The original question
- The number of messages in the thread
- When it was last updated
- A live badge if the thread is still generating
Tap any thread to reopen it and continue from where you left off.
Research threads are scoped to your workspace. A thread you start on mobile appears in your web and Desk history under the same matter or personal research context.
