Browse your active matters and stay on top of deadlines from your phone
Matters#
The Matters screen lists every matter in your workspace. Search, browse, and open any matter to see its documents and recent activity.
Matter cards#
Each card shows:

| Name | The matter name as set in the workspace |
| Description | Short summary of the matter |
| Deal type | M&A, Employment, Real Estate, Litigation, Corporate, IP, or General |
| Status | Active or Archived |
| Documents | Count of files uploaded to the matter |
| Last updated | Relative timestamp |
Tap a card to open the matter detail view.
Matter detail#
The matter detail screen shows a full summary and lets you act on the matter directly:
Documents
Recent files uploaded to the matter. Tap to preview or download.
Research
Tap Research this matter to open the composer pre-scoped to the matter context.
Research count
Total number of research threads linked to this matter.
Memos
Memos generated for this matter.
The three-dot menu in the header gives access to matter actions such as archiving.
Alerts#
The Alerts screen consolidates every time-sensitive notification across your workspace into one sorted list.
Alert types#
Filing deadlines
Court filing dates and procedural deadlines from your matters.
Renewals
Licence, contract, and subscription renewal dates.
Legal holds
Active holds requiring preservation steps.
IP alerts
Patent, trademark, and copyright deadlines.
Urgency levels#
Alerts are grouped by urgency so critical items are never buried:
| Level | Colour | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Critical | Red | Due today, overdue, or within 24 hours |
| Upcoming | Orange | Due within the next 7 days |
| Monitor | Grey | Due in more than 7 days |
When one or more critical alerts exist, a summary card appears at the top of the screen listing the count and the soonest deadline.
Time display#
The relative time label next to each alert reads:
- Overdue — already past
- Today — due within the current calendar day
- Tomorrow — due the following day
- In N days — all other upcoming dates
Tap any alert to open the linked matter.
Enable push notifications in Profile → Notifications to receive critical alert warnings before the app is opened.
